Guild Meeting September 18

Sorry it's taken me so long to get this posted...had computer issues...ok now.

We had a great meeting on Thursday Sept 18th.

We had lots of show and tell:

Rosemary had a few things to show...

She had more blocks but the pictures were so blurry I decided not to post them.  She is one busy lady!

Sandra showed us the blocks that her mother added to the quilt top that is being made for the contest.  Remember everyone that shows a finished item (not just a block) puts their name in the drawing for the quilt. Be sure to bring your finished projects to show and tell.

Debbie showed an item that she acquired and finished by long arm quilting it.

Arlene showed us some blocks she worked up...some are block of the month and some are others she liked and will add them to the quilt.

And Frankie Moss brought some projects she finished (I apologize for the pictures being so bad)

Cathy brought some quilts that she finished....Remember our "Charming Circles" quilt that Deann Wiley taught us in June?  Cathy finished hers!!

 And here is her "Disappearing Hourglass" completed quilt.  Very stunning don't you think?

Next Sue Weidauer showed us her finished "Winterlude" table runner...

Sue and Cathy also gave us tips and tricks to make sure it turns out okay.

And Cathy showed us how the block goes together and where it fit on her quilt.

She also showed us a new block...."Card Trick" is its name and here is Arlene's block
