New Block of the Month

I am so sorry I missed Quilt Guild Meeting....I was so sick that I couldn't get out of bed.  You wouldn't have wanted me to come and spread my germs around anyway.  Thanks to Marsha for stepping in to show you how to make the Shooting Star block.  And thanks to Arlene Bartholomew for stepping in and taking pictures.  (Arlene, you can email them to me at oldcapitalquiltguild@gmail.com or text them to me at 435-253-2249)

Block of the Month --  Shooting Star - Susan Paxton---Bring your fabric and we will show you how to put together this fun block.  You need 9 of the 4.5" background squares and 18 of the print 2.5" squares. 

Sewing Machine Maintenance -- Cathy Jolley 

Bring your machine and learn to maintain it - There are lots of things you can do to ensure that your machine stays in working order.

Rotary Cutting tutorial -  Sue Weidauer  -  

Bring your Rotary Cutter, ruler, your Mat, and some fabric to cut and learn the proper procedure for cutting fabrics  with a rotary cutter.
