Welcome
Chris Ann welcomed us to our meetings. She always has fun things in store for us. Chris Ann you are great.
Scholarship Winner
Carrie Robison, one of our quilt guild scholarship winners came to our morning meeting. We presented her with a check for $250 to be used for her college fees. She is delightful.
Our other scholarship winner, Tyler Cain, attended the evening meeting and received his check. They enjoyed him so much.
Flower Basket Block of the Month
Suzanne Harmon had multiple blocks this month. She gave hints for finishing the Basket Quilt. She is available to advise as you put your blocks together. We are anxious to see all of these beautiful blocks put into quilts.
Here are some of the finished blocks displayed this month.
Chris Ann Jensen is the winner of the drawing for those who finished their blocks. She won a very nice lint remover.
Show and Share
Donna Dyer shared this stunning quilt. She made it for her grandson. It is a king-size quilt. He will receive it when he gets married, but it's a secret. Don't tell him.
Suzanne also made these bright, colorful bags. They can hold quilting supplies, a tablet, computer, or anything else you need to protect and carry. She made them look professional and beautiful. I wonder if there is anything Suzanne cannot make. She is amazing.
Bingo Winners
At the beginning of the year, members of our guild filled out bingo cards with activities they wanted to accomplish during the year. A ticket was earned for each bingo on their card. These tickets were put into a drawing to be held at the end of the year. It was for a $50 gift certificate to Mom's Crafts in Delta.
Everyone who participated was a winner because they accomplished so many things as they completed the items on their Bingo card.
Ellen Harmon won the morning guild drawing and Tafta Watson won the evening guild drawing.
Final Meeting Luncheon
We finished off our last meeting with a delicious fried chicken lunch with salads, hot rolls, and desserts. Everyone enjoyed it. We had good friends, good food, and good company. What a delectable and delightful way to end the year.
We would love to have you join us next year! Come enjoy our guild.
